That's right, I bought a 5 lb spiral cut ham for 1.99 per pound last Sunday.
WOW! It's hard to count how many delicious meals we've created out of one ham. First, I roasted it. With some carrots and potatoes, a great supper for four. Then at least a few big juicy sandwiches with mayo, lettuce and tomato on wheat bread. Then, when it looked like it was all over..... I made split pea soup with the giant bone and a bag of dry split peas. At least 4 more bowls of amazing taste and nutrition at the very end. Thanks little piggy!

The 99 Cent Gourmet!
I go to the 99 cent store on Sunday and Wednesday morning. That's when the truck delivers the new food and goods to my location in NoHo. They open just before 8am and that's when you'll see the best of their new products. Get there early, the good stuff goes quickly. I found items there for .99 cents that are selling at other stores for $5 - $8.
