PLAN AHEAD!
I try to plan 4 or 5 full dinners per week.
At least one seafood, one chicken one beef and one pork.
Two days a week it's hamburgers or pizza....
occasionally Chinese.

I can get distracted if I'm in a crowd of people so I shop on Sunday mornings and start at 7:00am. Some stores have the best produce at the lowest prices. Some have sales on meat. I keep a basic tally at each store I visit. As I go, I complete each meal with vegetables and starch. Even get desserts for at least 3 meals per week. We always have plenty of food and never feel like we're going without anything.
